Our Surgeons

Our providers believe it is important to take time to educate patients and make them feel they are a part of their treatment process. They understand that undergoing surgical procedures can be difficult for a patient and aim to ease each patient’s anxieties. Their goal is not only to effectively treat skin cancers, but also to repair the surgical wounds with the optimal cosmetic outcome.

Julia Obadiah, M.D.

Dr. Obadiah’s dedication and passion for medicine began at a young age. Her drive to help others was rewarded when she was accepted to an accelerated medical school directly out of high school where she was top of her class. She continued her education and completed her dermatology residency at Washington University, one of the top programs in the country, followed by a Mohs surgery, laser, and cosmetic fellowship. She was the head physician in the Mohs department at Kaiser where she began a skin cancer committee to advocate for the best care for skin cancer patients. Dr. Obadiah has also been a valuable mentor and educator of medical students and plastic surgery residents. Her commitment to  providing patient focused care can be seen in the 4.7-5.0 out of 5 stars she  has received from over 250 reviews. Dr. Obadiah is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, American Board of Mohs Surgery, and Oregon Dermatology Society. She has published in peer reviewed journals and textbooks and also lectured at the American Academy of Dermatology. In her free time she enjoys volunteering and spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.
